Many initiatives to reduce our country’s carbon footprint involve spending millions of dollars on incentives and systemic changes. But here at Jennings Oil & Propane, we reduced our carbon footprint dramatically when we started delivering only Bioheat® fuel, and it didn’t cost our customers a dollar more.
That’s because Bioheat fuel is made by blending ultra-low-sulfur heating oil with biodiesel — a renewable energy resource produced in the United States. It’s often made from the fatty acids found in soy, corn and other vegetable oils. Read more about Bioheat fuel in this newsletter.
On the propane front, we’re proud to supply many of our customers with a fuel that has a very low carbon content. Propane produces next to zero greenhouse gas emissions or air pollutants, making it a cleaner-burning energy source. It can reliably heat homes and water, fuel multiple indoor and outdoor appliances and even power vehicles.
You can feel good that you’re putting your trust in a company that cares about our community, cares about our environment and cares about our customers.
